Part of the Goddess Series, this is an illustration of the Norse goddess Hel: goddess of death. She is poised at the entrance to the underworld, welcoming and beautiful. As long as you don't look in the mirror, anyway. The descent into the underworld grows increasingly painful and sharp at the back of the cavern. She is decorated with soft roses and bleeding skulls
