We're here for such a short time. Things can feel so important, so earth shattering, but we're not even here for a moment in the longview of things. When the stars lift from their darkness, illuminating the dark ocean, time moves, so slowly to us, but long and drawn out like a river to the universe. The ocean waves and storms are but a breath, the tides and hurricanes a blink. Time is endless and beginningless and perfect - may we contribute to these moments in a beautiful way.
 
Part of the Celestial Collection, this piece is an expression of a moment in time and the desire to hold onto each passing moment. It shows the need to be present and feel every moment of joy and peace as we rest in the here and now without worry for the past or the future. Layers of transparent pigment reveal the depth of the deep blue color in calming, free strokes across the canvas.
